Honest Unpaid Review of Meghan Markle’s As Ever Parcel
Today I received my As Ever parcel from the USA.
Unfortunately, on the asever.com website they don’t offer worldwide delivery.
👉 Suggestion to the developers: remove countries from the checkout list where you don’t actually deliver, as it’s misleading and frustrating.
Because of this, I had to use a third-party service to get the parcel reshipped to me in the UK.
Packaging
- 👍 The packaging was paper-based, with no plastic — well done, As Ever!
- 👎 The keepsake box broke down as soon as I opened it — the base came out with the jar. Poor quality there.
What I Ordered
- 2 jars of orange marmalade — one for me, one for a friend.
- Peppermint tea.
- Flower sprinkles.
Product Experience
Orange Marmalade
- Taste: alright, like a standard marmalade.
- Slightly sweeter than I’m used to.
- Nothing very special, but still enjoyable.
Peppermint Tea
- Came in a plastic bag → disappointing, as this adds microplastic pollution.
- No As Ever branding on individual tea bags — surprising for a premium brand.
- Personally, I would have preferred loose tea in a jar instead.
- The seal was very hard to open (needed a knife/scissors). Labels seem to be plastic, which was again disappointing.
- Taste: nice, but just your average peppermint tea.
Flower Sprinkles
- Looked cute 🌸, but didn’t smell very nice in my own personal oppinion.
- Same issue with the hard-to-open seals.
Final Thoughts
Overall, my experience was mixed:
✅ Eco-friendly paper packaging (big plus).
❌ Too much unnecessary plastic (tea packaging + seals).
⚖️ Marmalade and tea taste fine but not exceptional.
✨ Flower sprinkles are more about looks than fragrance.
I hope As Ever improves their packaging quality and consistency — the idea is good, but the execution left me a bit disappointed.
I honestly don’t think this brand will last long.
I ordered partly to preserve the history and also to support the creator, because I like the idea behind it.
This is an honest, unpaid review. I paid for the products myself and had them shipped via a third-party service to the UK.
